Great Video -lots of tips and hints review by Judy Tobacco on 9/18/2019
After taking a drop out vessel class with another instructor outside of AAE glass, I still had questions and inconsistent results. Nathan supplies an indepth look at this process and has helped me solve the problems I was experiencing. He takes the mystery and apprehension about using a tile saw and information to help control glass movement in the kiln..
Very Thankful!!! review by DeAngaLea Snyder on 9/4/2019
I live in an area where there are no studios that offer workshops, and I've found very little material that answered my questions regarding this technique. I had several drop out rings sitting on a shelf because I was, basically, afraid to use them. Now I have a great time using drop out rings thanks to this video.
Awesome video! review by Cheryl Bourguignon on 1/13/2019
Now I think I can do drop vessels on my own because of this awesome video by Nathan! He gives such clear instruction and makes drop vessels seem doable. I've had instruction on drop vessels with Tanya and she makes it seem easy. But then my memory isn't the best so Nathan's video has reminded my of all the steps and techniques that I need to use to do this on my own. Thanks Tanya and Nathan!
Dropouts on a different level review by Bernadette on 1/13/2019
I bought this video as I was curious to see how such unusual dropouts were created. I learned so much more and I agree that the calculations contained make repeating the process easier. Excellent technique sharing.
Always wanted to leran how to do this review by Debbie Tamburro on 1/8/2019
Excellent video that teaches me what I always wanted to learn. Nathan is a great instructor that shares information on volume and of course how to take off your rim . I remember after taking the pebble technique I thought to myself I could do this . Ha ha what a fool I was. There is alot more involved to making one of these beautiful vessels. Take a course from an expert. It really does make a difference. I now have a great library that I can refer to any time I want.
Excellent Teacher review by Claudia Whitten on 1/8/2019
I have purchased two of Nathan videos. Nathan is an excellent teacher very clear and easy to follow. I have been working with glass for many years. I have studied with various instructors. I can't recommend his teaching methods more. I have picked up some very useful information from both videos. What a great way to learn and have the information to review again and again.
Another great technique from Nathan review by Shannon Mabry on 9/29/2018
Nathan is a true artist and a technical master. I've purchased each of his videos and will continue to do so. I want to do drop out construction so happy to learn the right way right off.
As always, I learn something other than the advertised in these videos that help fill the gap in my mostly self taught background.
As always, the production values of these on-line classes are very high.
Excellent video review by Carol. Curry on 9/27/2018
I took Nathan’s class and bought the video. The video is very comprehensive. I enjoy referring back to the video to clarify my notes from class.
What AConcept! review by Lynn McManus on 9/26/2018
This video has so much information that I’ve gone back and reviewed some sections more than once! The info on volume and how to remove the rim are invaluable. Thank you Nathan and AAE for bringing us this video class.
It is amazing how a few tricks can elevate your final piece! review by Elisabeth Miller on 9/26/2018
I like the way I can go back to a part of the video if I am unclear about what I need to do. The quality of the videos is great. Thank you for all your hard work.

Very Cool Class review by Jennifer Stockman on 9/19/2018
Very informative class on how to construct a unique drop out vase. The steps are easy to follow (ok, until you have to do the math to calculate the frit but that is just me - I bet you will get it - I will google a calculator LOL) and the finishing is extra cool because it seems to be the scariest part for everyone. He shows you the best way to take that rim off - and in the construction - how to save $$$ in your design!
This class was so informative I bought the next one he put out about cold working!
Great video review by Temple on 9/19/2018
He shows you the best way to do drop outs and shows you the steps. He makes it look so easy!
Great video review by Erika on 7/7/2018
Very valuable information and well delivered . Much easier than trying to remove the rim with a dremmel tool. Loved the construction using the rings and frit !
Another great video thanks Nathan and Aae for this .
Excellent. review by Marlene on 6/23/2018
I enjoyed this video very much, I learnt some tricks that I can use in other applications. I’ve watched it twice and I still question wether or not the drop ring is kiln washed.
